WOOD POINT’s “Finiera noliktava (Plywood Warehouse) “JŪRKALNES”” is located in 2B Aizputes Street, Riga. It is a spacious, modern warehouse with a sales hall where the offered assortment is clearly displayed. Convenient for both customers and employees.

Our choice in favour of this location was not random. During the period from the establishment of the company until 2008, our home was located relatively nearby – at Krūzes Street. As the company expanded, the need for larger premises arose, and we chose this small, 427-metre-long street in an area characterised by an active economic life as our new location.

In the city, this neighbourhood is historically known as Šampēteris. Already in the end of the 19th century several industrial companies operated here – once there was a factory for the production of artistic papers, a chemical products factory Pihlau, nearby also the Zasulauks Wool Manufactory and the engine and transmission factory Motor, where in 1910, probably for the first time in the then Russian Empire to industrially manufacture aero engines and aircrafts. In Soviet times, the most prominent industrial facility in this area was the military electronics factory ELAR that has now turned into a modern Nordic Technology Park complex.

Development and activity in this area do not stop, new buildings are being built here, the range of offered products and services is expanding, far-sighted and strategically thinking companies choose this location as their own. This vision is also in line with WOOD POINT's plans.
